The Principle Of Injection Mold Structure

Aug 05, 2021

The phrase "mold is the mother of industry" is already familiar to everyone. The importance of molds is increasingly recognized by people, and great progress has been made in mold design and mold manufacturing technology. The innovative design of mold processing technology, the wide application of various new mold materials, the standardization and specialization of mold parts, etc., have forced us to design faster and more accurately to adapt to the development of molds. The increase in speed requires that the design stage can be delivered to the later sections within about 3 days; the accuracy improvement requires that the processing methods of each part should be considered clearly in the design process, and the processing methods with high precision and low processing cost should be adopted as far as possible. The increase in accuracy and speed are complementary to each other. The increase in speed will inevitably require an increase in accuracy; the increase in accuracy will inevitably lead to an increase in speed.

The plastic mold is composed of seven systems: guiding system, supporting system, molding parts system, pouring system, cooling system, ejection system, exhaust system. For the mold composed of the above systems, the plastic enters the cavity through the gating system through the pouring system, and is cooled by the cooling system after filling and holding pressure. The finished product is condensed and solidified and ejected by the molded part and ejection system to complete a molding cycle.
